My name’s Monique Mulcahy, I’m a Creative Producer from Melbourne and a recipient of the Screen Producers Australia Ones To Watch professional development program 2023.

I’ve produced a variety of projects from pre to post, working across a bunch of formats including live action, 2D animation, stop motion and puppetry.

I’m currently the Head of Development at Aunty Donna’s production company, Haven't You Done Well Productions. In this role I manage a diverse slate of original film, TV and online comedy projects for HYDWP and am part of the development team for Grouse House TV, our alternative Australian comedy distribution network and emerging talent incubator. Having spent the last four years working in the online space, I have gained invaluable insights into developing IP with audience and distribution strategies at the forefront.

In 2023 I started my very own production company Strange Mage as a way to make all of my wildest nerd dreams come true. That is, to develop and produce high-concept mixed media projects that spark the imagination and warm the heart!
